Accommodation near Gladstone Airport
We're about ten minutes from the terminal — close enough that a delayed landing still ends in a bed, and an early departure doesn't mean a 4am alarm.

Parklands Resort is roughly a ten-minute drive from Gladstone Airport, at 1906 Dawson Highway in Calliope. That's the short answer.
The longer one is that flights into and out of Gladstone tend to be either late in the evening or early in the morning, and the two want different things from a place to stay. So here's both, separately.
Landing late
The bit people worry about is walking up to a dark reception. You don't have to.
- Before you flyGive us your flight number and rough arrival time when you book. Reception is staffed 2:00–9:30 pm; anything later, we set up an after-hours check-in.
- Off the planeCollect the hire car, turn onto the Dawson Highway and you're here in about ten minutes. It's a signed, straightforward run — no back roads in the dark.
- On arrivalPark at your door. Every room is ground floor, so there are no stairs and no lift with a suitcase at eleven at night.
- Then sleepThe rooms and cabins sit well back from the highway in the gardens. Guests consistently say the same thing about this place: it's quiet.
Flying out early
Ten minutes to the terminal changes what time you have to get up. So does breakfast at five.
- From 5:00 am, Mon–FriThe buffet breakfast opens at five and runs to 7:30. It's $20 and paid separately from the room. On a weekday, that's a hot breakfast before almost any departure.
- Weekends are differentThe restaurant is closed Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. For a weekend flight, plan to eat at the airport or on the road — we'd rather tell you now than at 5am.
- Check-out is 10:00 amLater than the first wave of flights, so a mid-morning departure doesn't need an early hand-back of the key.
- Ten minutes outStraight back up the Dawson Highway. Allow a little more if you're returning a hire car.
Drive times are approximate and owner-stated. Meals are subject to availability — confirm at booking.
What a flying guest actually needs
Free parking, at the door
Room for larger vehicles, and EV charging on site. If you're in something oversized, call ahead and we'll keep space.
After-hours check-in
Arranged in advance, not improvised. Tell us the flight when you book and it's ready before reception closes at 9:30 pm.
Free Wi-Fi & a work desk
For the hour between landing and sleeping when the emails still have to go.
Dinner without driving
The on-site buffet runs Monday to Friday, 5:30–7:30 pm. $35, paid at reception. No late food run after a delayed flight.
Getting here from the terminal: nearly everyone picks up a hire car, and ten minutes later they're parked outside their room. If you're arriving without one, call us before you travel and we'll go through the options with you.

For one night around a flight
For a single night either side of a flight, the Deluxe Queen Room is the easy pick — carpeted, ensuite, bar fridge, tea and coffee. Two of you travelling for work? The Deluxe Twin Room sleeps three with its own ensuite. Solo and watching the budget, the Standard Single has a shared bathroom and does the job.
Staying longer than a night or two? The self-contained cabins have a kitchenette and a full-sized fridge, which starts to matter by day three.
